Best Phone Provider and Internet Provider for Cruise

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with cruising and calling back to shore/ internet access whilst on sea? Im cruising with princess cruises and internet charges is ridiculous AU$80.25 for 120 minutes of internet or $55 AUD for 10minutes worth of calls. I will be travelling to the south pacific ie. Vanuatu and New Caledonia. Just wondering if anyone has had experience with this and could shed some light over it.

    I know this may be hard to fathom but you might just have to go without internet.

        He/she will miss out on the best of them anyway due to the near-dialup-speeds that one will get whilst out at sea.

    Follow the throng to the McDonalds in Noumea if you really can't do without an internet fix. Otherwise, just prepare to chill out and relax on your floating retirement home at sea cruise of a lifetime.
