Title as suggested, opinions pls?

I like both, but can only afford one :-)

Price comparison: isuzu around $48-9k thereabouts. Prado second hand around $52k thereabouts.

Some say the isuzu engine is built like a tank and will last half a million kms. The Prado… I can't afford the diesel 200 cruiser so the Prado will suffice.

Did thought about the Mitsuibishi Pajero Exceed 2014/5 model, also in the mid 50s range. Like the leather seats and sun roof but it's expensive. Oh and I think it comes with diff lock, but I might be wrong.

    Prado, solely because of resale value.

    BTW, be careful of "reliability" hearsay. Many manufactures these days abuse their "reputations". 2014/15 = no time has past, therefore no unbiased judgement of reliability can be made.

    Imo, shop around and try to find a Prado with a sunroof and other features you want!

    Prado. Have seen/driven the Colorado 7, which is very much the same as the MUX.

    Resale/reliability/service costs - Prado!

    Pajero is too old now. Isuzu is ok, but too hard to go past the Prado. They do still get injector problems over 100,000km
