Has anyone played this? The reviews are mediocre but the game looks good?

It's an atmospheric horror game. But quite possibly one of the best horror games I've played, even though I generally dislike jump-scare type games. This game has few jumpscares so it relies on good mixture of atmosphere (and sounds) to keep you terrified. It does get old after a while though.
It's a welcome departure from the classic FPS games of old where you play as a mute Uber soldier carrying an inventory of 11 guns, bottomless ammo and crowbar, and blow up every mook with dumb AI you see. This game is a giant FU to that concept and completely turns the table on you.
You're a little girl with at best, only three useful guns and very limited ammo, and a couple of gadgets at your disposal. Your enemy is ever-present and an intelligent AI — he has GOD MODE and NOCLIP turned on. And he can kill you with one melee hit. So the only thing you can do is sneak around and hide, and pray to god that it doesn't gently penetrate your face with it's glistening extender-mouth. That's ALiens in a nutshell.
It's a good buy at this price.
The DLC's are not required to enjoy the game. Just adds some extra playtime (they are not very lengthy either) and some challenges, but I don't find them particularly fun, unless you happen to like speedrunning.
