        Agreed. Makes you wonder how many databases out their are full of made up details in order to get things like this. Better off for companies to provide a straightforward download link and an opt-in contact list separately for that purpose. Why should companies want/need name/email details if you don't really want commmunication from them…

            @[Deactivated]: Sure but my point was that if an increasing number of us just make up junk details to get a pdf then that database of details is worthless. Give out a book for PR purposes, have a separate list for those that actually do want to receive communication and it's win-win.
