I opened a NAB account the other week and made a cash deposit on Friday around noon. It was through an ATM located inside the bank. The printed receipt showed the available funds to be the amount I deposited, as expected, it being my first deposit. However, when I logged into my account tonight. The deposited amount is shown to be a credit (CR), but available funds is $0.00.
Is this unusual? With other banks I'ved found cash deposits even through an ATM were made available immediately.
I've only used the NAB atm deposit a couple of times, from memory it gets processed (manually verified) when the branch opens the next business day, so you'll probably see it show as available on the Monday morning
