Optical Glasses from US $1.95 (US $5 Discount) + Postage @Zenni

100

May be useful to someone. Following link gives one time use code for US $5 discount for a referral. http://www.zennioptical.com/refer-a-friend

If applied to $6.95 basic pair of glasses, it should make them US $1.95, plus US $10 postage, totalling US $11.95 for a pair of glasses delivered (I haven't tested this on $6.95 pair of glasses, but it should work).

I have ordered 3 pairs from zenni, and all good. I got some $6.95 frames made up for my partner, and she is very pleased with them.

My every day glasses are all from Zenni.

I have 5 rotating pairs, plus 1 pair of sunglasses from them. In total, combined, it was still significantly less than a pair from an Aussie store.

    • Have you ever bought any without anti-reflective coating? And if so, how are they?

      • Yep, my normal ones don't have it. Had no problem with it.

I go for the standard frames with no "extras". They're better than the OPSM ones I purchased for a lot more many years ago.

        • Thanks - time for me to order some more then!

  • Whoever reported this doesn't understand. The deal is you hit the referral button and refer yourself from yourself.

    • Yes thanks, I didn't make that very clear. It gives a code instantly, and then also another code once you make a purchase (not that you need the second code. As the first is freely available!)

  • can't seem to checkout with paypal? It loops back to the cart when I press place order with paypal as payment selection : (

edit: and automagically works fine when I tried once more immediately after writing this comment

  • Costco also sells 3 pairs of generic reading glasses (+1, +2, +3, etc.) for $14.99 or $19.99 by memory, you don't have to wait for shipping.
