Recipe manager and meal planning app

Any recommendations for an application I can use for recipe collecting and meal planning? I ideally would like to gather recipes and then be able to search for specific ingredients. Paprika seems to be highly regarded but they want $20 US for their Windows application when the same functionality is on Android and ios for $2-$3 - I'm not paying $20.

So ideally, a recipe manager and meal planner that has a Windows app (Windows Phone app optional as I have a Lumia), or a nice web app.

  • I use MyFitnessPal.

  • Evernote - https://evernote.com/ - also add in webclip plugin to your browser.

Some articles on how to do this:

From my part - use webclipper or camera to take a copy of recipe on laptop or phone.
Me or wife have access to same Evernote acct - goes to shop - the shopping list is on the note, buy what we need - can be adjusted from home while one is at shops.
Back home pull out the tablet/ipad with the Evernote open and put it on the kitchen table while we prep the meal.
After can leave notes on recipes adjustments, ratings and leave some tags on the file to use next time.
The tags are very important in making the whole notebook/data searchable and useable in future.

  • Google Docs? Google Keep?

  • I use this My CookBook (Recipe Manager)from the apknite site. You can try it tho.

  • I love Recipe Keeper Pro, worth the small fee, my shopping bill has dropped so much with the meal planner and shopping list and we don't have any waste.
You can use a free version, but limits the amount of recipes.
