  • It is listing postage at $10 for both Regular and Pre-Order…So it is $59.95
So if we spend $70, its -$5 which is $65 otherwise If we buy it at $50 + $10 postage it is $60?

    • Choose regular shipping to make total $59.95 then apply discount to make it $54.95
If you spend a total of $70, you will pay $65 as there is free shipping.

The pre-order option is when customers order multiple items (amongst them a pre-order item) and they want the other products before the pre-order products arrive.

      • When you try to use OZBOPOLY as the discount code after selecting regular shipping it says "your cart does not meet the requirements for the OZBOPOLY discount code" and remains at $59.95

        • Do you mind trying again? I just attempted to check out as a guest and it worked fine. If you refresh your page it may help.

        • @86boy: Seems to be working now, cheers!

        • No worries! Thank you for purchasing!

  • how about a general discount for those that dont want to purchase monopoly (besides the 5% off for signing up to your list)??

    • We are trying to promote this specific product at this moment, though we will run a Christmas general discount soon!

Come back with a deal on Monopoly OzBargain edition :-)

    Tokens could include Eneloops…
I think community chest would have a lot of cards by jv.

I'd buy if it was a bargain ;-)

      That's a great idea.
We can use mini eneloops as one of the tokens!

      old Kent Road = Gearbest?
      ???? = Harvey Norman
      MSY = hmmm, Regent St?

The community chest or chance cards would be:
"You posted a duplicate, pay each player $25"
"CC buyer price protection in your favour, collect $40"
"You earned a popular comment badge, move forward to 3 spaces"

  • whats the rrp??

    • RRP by supplier is $65 AUD

out of stock on site as not yet available but only 49.95

    • Our price is also $49.95, but I do understand they are running a free shipping promotion.
If they are back in stock, I will speak to those above me to see if we can match beat their price!

There is a little controversy regarding this boredgame

    • Geez. Screw this game then.

" the board game a thumbs down, saying it was too touristy, with no streets and far too much business placement, as well as including far too many locations that aren’t actually in Melbourne."

I'm expecting things like Collins St, Brunswick St, Toorak Rd or something like that. Not surprising that its effectively paid advertising.

  • cheaper at Milsims as well milsims.com.au
    $46.75 + $7.50 postage

    • They do not have stock and are on pre-order.

It's free with a herald sun $59 subscription

    • That seems to be a great deal! Though it'll depend on how much you value their subscription…is it worth the extra $5?

rupert murdoch would love a monopoly

  • toys paradise for racv members $44.95
free shipping if you spend over $80
spend $100 and get an extra $5 off

    • Our listed price is 49.95, with the $5 discount is $44.95.
Our free shipping is a spend over $70 which is $10 less than theirs.
Thank you for thoroughly researching our competitors to validate that we are the best deal so far!

      • not really milsims above is cheaper as is Australian geographic

        • We have stock, they do not.
Like other major retailers, another competitor with a lower price without stock is not considered competition at all.

        • @86boy: it's preorder

  • an I can buy two at toy paradise for $90 delivered vs $95 for you just saying

    • If you want to buy 2, I'll make a deal for you at $89.95.

Previously purchased from the this store. They don't bubble wrap the games. The game box is unprotected in a satchel.

You lost me right there. Needs to be improved right now if you want me to consider buying anything from you. (I don't care about Monopoly personally, but I do a lot of other boardgames and I sent your link to a workmate who loves different Monopoly editions, then had to send a warning to about packaging.)

These are $49 in big w and david jones and they do have stock.

    here DJ link http://shop.davidjones.com.au/djs/en/davidjones/melbourne-mo…

big w has stock in store but must of removed online link.

    • DJ link comes up with no stock.

    • Confirming, went to QV Big W and there were plenty of sets at $49.95. And they also have the regular Mononpoly at $25, which is a discount on the usual $34.50.

This is not a dig at the OP, but who the heck wants to buy these silly themed versions of what is already a pretty crappy game?

Believe it or not, I actually like the game of monopoly but a themed edition is just going to drag the game out even longer.

  • How do you build a hotel on the Shrine of Remembrance? and Great Ocean Road is not even in Melbourne.

  • big w has a whole stack at front entrance sunbury and no doubt other stores right now.
same price i think of $54 or so.

  • Does it come with a free rain cloud over your heads while you're playing?

  • Ive just been having a look at a few sites inc ebay, there seems to be at least 2 or 3 different versions out htere,

    whats the difference?

im looking to buy 2 , one to play, and one for keeps, and wanted the rarest one if possible

    • To my knowledge there is only one Melbourne edition. The pictures you're seeing on eBay are of the same product.

      • oh ok, thank you

im seeing one with a red vertical stripe up the side with tokens mentioned on it

        and one without

  • To my knowledge there is only one Melbourne edition. The pictures you're seeing on eBay are of the same product.
