Great game. Best I've played this year

    • +4

agreed i cant stress how amazing this game is, just a completely different and refreshing game from anything around right now. I have clocked up 300 hours in under 2 months.

for those already playing, should look at http://au.cybergamer.com/pc/rocketleague/ladder/rankings/

its an Australian ladder for rocket league clans.

      • +8

That's almost 20% of your life for two months, and is equivalent to a full time job.

        Dude.

        • +3

Nothing wrong with that I work 60-70 hour weeks running a small business (inc. organising 5 employees) and have owned it for 9 weeks clocking up 337hrs so far as well. Dead set one of the most rewarding games and a great community to boot!

  • +1

Good game, I got over it pretty fast but the community is relatively alive (25k daily peak). Good price too, definitely worth it.

  • +2

Got a few mates that are on this 24/7

  • +1

Not a fan of soccer. But this game is insanely fun.

It's $14.99USD in the VIP room.

Not compatible with voucher though :/

I dislike their shady practices of currency displaying (and charging more USD for Australians for no reason on a lot of games), but for this price, I'll bite.

    • Can only assume your opinion of Valve.

      • Yep, take Fallout 4 for example. $80 USD in Australia, or $60 USD in USA.. for what reason? Because they know there will be a few Australians who will actually pay that (even though it's $70 USD at JB Hi-Fi).

However I think it's not 100% valve's fault, as much as it is Bethesda, since the developer enables regional pricing, but Valve shouldn't really allow it in such a way.

        • Yeah pretty much. I never buy off Steam. I got Fallout 4 for $60 AU from another distributor, no way I'm paying upwards of $100. Total bullshit.

        • @kaneissik: Looks like we got a steam fanboy negging us :)

        • @brezzo: Can assure you it wasn't me :)

        • @kaneissik: Wasn't saying it was, they negged you too! haha

        • @brezzo:
          Oh my bad, oh well!

    • Apparently the practice is ok with Paypal cause they closed my appeal in favour of GMG when I didn't know

      • PayPal don't do digital appeals over >$10 AU.

      • I didn't (or couldn't) raise a dispute with PayPal, but I contacted GMG and they eventually gave in. My argument was that PayPal said I could confirm my purchase before it was finalised (on GMG website). PayPal didn't show currency or price on that screen, so I clicked continue and then GMG said "hey, thanks for your order, here's your non-refundable key, thanks for your $<high>!"

        • Did that too, still no good.

        • @DH: Hmm, it might be a bit harder on you since you opted for the paypal appeal directly, whereas I contacted GMG support first and they voluntarily gave me a partial refund (instead of PayPal acting as a mediator). Bad luck, I guess.. At least in the future you can avoid them altogether! :)

  • I'd say be patient and wait for the Christmas steam sale, which should be much cheaper.
Meanwhile you should be playing Starcraft II Legacy of the void (dead game), Fallout 4, and Star Wars Battlefront. - While you wait for the sale to save a few extra bucks

    the site is so buggy.
EDIT: Can you please put in the descrip. or title that registration is required.

Anyone know if this is reasonably playable on the Surface Pro 3?

    Great Price

    EDIT: I have a 128gb i5

    • From a Google search:
Okay, for anyone interested: tried it on a Surface Pro 3 i5 and it hovers at around 40 fps with lowest details in 1366 x 768. That's after the throttling kicks in after about one or two minutes.

Playable, but not very pretty. Which is a shame, because it's quite a pretty game.

    • To be honest though this game is not about graphics. It's mostly great gameplay.

  • +3

    Nice shot!
    I mean, nice deal!

  • Should I keep waiting for this game price to go down or buy it now?

    • It will inevitably get cheaper. The question is, can you wait or do you want to play it now?

      • I can wait. I've got enough games in my Steam Library anyways. 502 and counting -.-

    • I bought it from this deal, a few friends have been telling me to get it for ages, and now I can finally see why.

They should rename it "Just One More League" - you'll find yourself playing "just one more" game until 4am :|

Heaps of fun, definitely worth it for $18 AUD. Sure, it might go to $10 but that might take another 6 months to 1 year, by which time who knows how popular it will still be :P

How did you guys get $12.80 USD? I'm getting $13.60 USD

    • Different voucher? I used 15PERC-WTHGMG-NVMBER
The one provided from OP doesnt work

  • I can't play FIFA games or any sports games for that matter.. But this game happens to be one of the best I've played in a very long time ..

  • Unfortunately looks like SAVE20-NOVEMB-GAMING is no longer working.
Could only get 15PERC-WTHGMG-NVMBER to work ($13.60USD)

      Try this:

If that doesn't work we have a official partner code for 20% off

    Thanks.
