bought from the previous, no complaints. make sure you go through cashrewards/ebates.

had the ring independently valued by ian abeshouse in sydney cbd, can't remember how much it cost, but 3 digits from memory.

shipping was quick, sent by fedex and when it arrived, got a call from them to take the import fees/duties so they can clear it straight away. I think i received it 2nd or 3rd day after ordering.

    • Why did you have to pay duty when these goods are made in the USA and covered by the fta?

      • He wouldn't have paid duty, just GST.

Is being married to me really that bad?

        It's the worst ;-)

  • In our experience, they have been great. Beautiful quality and much cheaper than something equivalent would be from a jewelry shop in Australia.

Just remember to factor in the import duties and GST that you'll have to pay before FedEx delivers it in Australia. It's roughly 15% on top of the purchase price.

I bought from them while in the US. It's a good company; strong rep, good customer service, trustworthy. I actually bought both a loose diamond and a separate wedding bad from them - no problems with either and 100% as described. Prices were very good and via miles/cashrewards type savings, represented a better value than any other source I checked.

I had my setting done by James Allen (another good diamond site) and they were great too.

  • I bought mine from B2C Jewels http://www.b2cjewels.com/. They have been awesome. Found the same diamond advertised on 4 different sites. B2C were the best price. Got it sent, aid the GST etc.

I had them pair it with a yellow gold ring and sent it complete. When it arrived, I wasn't 100% happy with the ring. The diamond was appraised and was higher than expected ( I kno insurance values are way above purchase price, but it was 4 times what I paid, not the typical 3 times).

They saw my photos and agreed it wasn't perfect. They said go get quotes from someone to make it good here in AUS. Total came to how much it cost for the ring and they gave me that no questions as a refund.

Got my local jeweler to remake band using original gold and love it. She gave me an invoice for her work and I claimed TRS!

Overall, they were cheap, quick and great customer service.

    • What check out option did you use? I am in the process of buying now.
      Thanks

I purchased my wife's engagement ring in 2013 and our wedding bands in 2014. Great price and quality. Be careful if you want to exchange a product for another you will need to pay tax again when it comes into Oz if over the threshold

  • I have bought a ring from there. Excellent service. Arrived quickly once payment has been made. Rememeber Need to pay gst too if over 1k

  • Hi just wondering if I head overseas is it possible to claim TRS from the ring?

  • Hey guys, how did you deal with the sizing of the ring? Never had any issues?

One thing to note as an ozbargainer, if you are buying a diamond ring, don't get a ring scattered with little "crushed" diamonds because they're worth almost nothing. Get a ring with one big diamond because that's what has value. But at the end of the day you're not buying a ring for resale value…

    • excellent point
