New to the GC, I have an 08 Toyota Camry. Need a mechanic that's good in value (Price vs Service)
Not sure if the Toyota dealers around the coast are affordable, they're often overpriced.
So the problems with my car are:
1) Humming noise around 50K/h, slowly getting worse (noise is louder and starting at 48k/h). I think it's wheel bearing going bad.
2) Shaking steering wheel when breaking under highway speed. I think it's due to warped rotors.
Any recommendations will be appreciated.
Cant advise on a mechanic in your area but I have found that the mobile mechanics are good value. They are mechanics, not just general labourers and you can see the work being done.
With brake rotors sometimes it can be as cheap to fit new rotors than to skim old ones. Very easy to DIY, check out youtube for the how to.
