Leather Car Seat Covers?

Hey Guys, looking at leather car seat covers something like

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Cheapest-universal-PU-leather-car…

Wondering how comfortable these actually are. I really like the feel of the leather seats in silver service cabs. I know i won't get 100% like it but how do leather covers around ~200-250 feel. Anyone got any?

Cheers

  • From my understanding, these can get really cold during winter and burning hot during summer.

  • I bought these
It feels alot more comfortable than the original, and it keeps the original upholstery clean.

Its easy to clean as well. Just wipe with a wet cloth.

It can get hot during summer, so I suggest you buy shades to prevent direct sunlight (If you wear pants all the time, it wont matter too much).

SCA ones are airbag compatible. Is this ebay link compatible?

'Picture #5: Fully cover at back' means it covers the whole back, so you wont be able to access the pouch behind the seats. It looks like the front and back leather part are held together by 2 elastic straps on each side, so I guess u can maneuver around it.

    Hope that helps

    • Look at picture #2: Back rear seats. It doesn't cover the whole seat, so if your upholstery is a different colour, it may look weird. Same goes with the front ones. Look at the SCA link above, as it covers the whole seat.

    • I would not recommend those super cheap auto branded fake leather seat covers. They were a poor fit and had to return them, but the worst thing was that they looked very cheap and tacky.

  • These are not 100% leather, notice how they say PU leather.
The are plastic (polyurethane) on a leather backing, marginally better than vinyl.
