I accidently broke my car backlight.
It's Honda Civic 2010 Sedan model.

How much it will cost to replace it via a service dealer?

Thanks

  • With a few more details like exactly what model your Honda is, ie numbers off the ID or Compliance plate, and then details like….which back light. IE, Number plate light- LH or RH or assembly, and or Stop/Tail/Indicator or each or combination light assembly, and of course, Left hand or Right hand, or what ever else you have back there, and you might get somewhere.

Call the dealer, where you bought it, your local mechanic, or wrecker, or Jap parts dealer etc, under Motor Parts in the Yellow Pages, book or online, or even a mate that tinkers with cars. You will get varying prices pending where you call, so call a few of the same to get best genuine Honda deal, a few wreckers for 2nd hand prices, and a few after market places to get non genuine prices.

Beware though, some!!! cheaper after market and or non genuine parts retailers can legaly sell you light assemblies that look and operate the same as genuine, but either do not meet Asutralian Standards, or do not last, do not fit exactly and or the lenses will fade prematuraly, and hence they are illegal to use on the road….some.

Unless you just take it to a repair shop, you are going to have to do some homework on your details, and then let your fingers do the walking.

Or it is like anything else, get your details and search Google, life really is so simple.

PS. Would anyone actually break their car on purpose?

  • PSS. I could not help it.

Answer. How long is a piece of string?

    • It is twice the length from the middle to one end.
