Cheapest GTX 960 4GB or Alternative?

My graphics card has been fried :(

Anything similar to that expired deal of a gtx 960 4gb for $266 available at present.

I don't game but I need something to power four monitors (one of which 4k).

Cheers.

if you are trying for 4k its better to get a gtx 970 or gtx 980ti. If its budget the AMD 380s cards are pretty good for its price. Or you can go for the 280s cause they are basically the same thing which are even cheaper

    • Could you explain why you would go with a 970 or a 980ti over the 960?

      • Sorry thought this was for gaming :D

  • I had 4k running OK off a 2gb quadro card so not sure that's required for non gaming.

  • I've been looking for a good price on GTX 960 4GB too. Haven't really come up with any winners yet. Certainly nothing sub $300.
I'm looking for exclusively Australian Stock for warranty purposes.

I feel like I'm going to be in for a long wait.

  • 370 vs 960. Wait and see what the black Friday sales bring us. Definitely worth getting a 960 over 370

    • You should be comparing the 380 to the 960. Both come in 2gb or 4gb and are about delta $10.

The 380 is usually slightly more expensive, but it does match the 960 and in many cases yields a 5-10% improvement in fps.

      • I was replying to the above comment recommending the 370. Amd seem to take longer for driver updates and don't seem to perform as well in games like Ark. I have an AMD and nvidia card in 2 systems so I'm not exactly biased towards one company.

  • The 380 (2gb or 4gb) is more powerful and is the better value proposition at normal (non-sale) prices. I just haven't really seen many sales for AMD cards lately, really disappointing =[.

You may also want to check out the 380x which should be available soon.
