LPG cylinder for a BBQ (first bottle purchase)

We just bought a 3.7kg bottle for $75 from Woolworths. I have no idea what prices are like but I'm quite sure we got ripped off with that price. Can anyone else comment?
We live in the country so I suppose we are limited for choices…

    Return it and grab a "swap n go" from bunnings.

      * $31.90 for POL fitting.
      * $34.95 for 3/8" BSP-LH fitting

      Though, I'd get the 8.5KG for $28.90 if size didn't matter. More flexibility to swap and go at most petrol stations, bbq retailers etc.

    Return it and go to the local rubbish tip.
    You will find some being recycled that are out of date. Pick one that looks cosmetically nice. My local tip lets me take them for free.
    Take it to Coles Express and they will swap it for a full one at the standard price.
    I suggest you choose a 9kg unless you really need the 4kg size. My local swap places charge about the same for either size. $25 to swap.
    If you shop around you might find a refiller as cheap as $15, I get a price like that from BBQ Galore.
