Prizes. The prize is for two (2) people. One (1) winner will receive the prize and the winner will be able to choose one (1) travel companion to accompany them on the trip. The prize comprises:

I won an overseas trip a few years ago. The trip had to be taken during a 3-month period, and we were asked for our preferred dates and given the option of extending (at our own expense).
In the end, we didn't (no-one was willing to babysit our kids for longer than the initial timeframe!) but it was good to know the option was there. I've heard of other people also extending trips that they've won.
Thanks for sharing that info, Katie2014. Yeah, kinda rubbing it in a bit for friends/family babysitting - "We just won a one week trip but want to extend it to three… so, can you look after our kids?"
I recently won an Air Asia photograpohy comp for two and they were pretty good and flexible re dates. The trip is for up to two months and the tickets were supposed to be used to fly out/return from asia within 6 months of winning, but they are allowing me to leave at the 6 month period and return at the 8 month period. Both of us were supposed to fly out/return together but my friend can only go for 3 weeks so they are also allowing us to return at different times. Probably just a matter of how convincing, polite, thankful you are about it maybe.

I've always wondered with these 'flights + x nights' competitions - are people able to change return dates easily? Flying 24hrs each way for a four night tour… I'd want to tack on another week or two (own expense, obviously) to make the trip truly worthwhile. So… any winners out there care to share?
