Hi Folks
I remember reading here ages ago, about do it yourself cleaning fluid for a Bruin Electric Shaver. I didn't have one then so of course I didn't copy the post. Someone said that instead of buying new cartridges, they refilled the old ones. Can anybody help please.

Thank you so much for your help. I am constantly amazed at how much the OzBargain community knows and is willing to share.
I used to refill mine with 95% ethanol that I was able to source from a previous workplace.
I'd filter the remaining fluid to try to retain any lubricating oils that might be in the commercial stuff.
I'd replace the cartridge about once per year to ensure longevity of the shaver.
It's about 10 years old now and the foil part is still working fine, but something in the beard trimmer assembly snapped so that it doesn't stay together properly anymore.
Shortly after that happened, I got the all clear from the missus to grow a beard, so I rarely use the foil anymore.
