Hotel Room - Booked for 2 People but 3 People Staying

Obviously it's a NO from Hotel's point of view.

But, what's the chance being found out and the consequence.

So, here's something that i understand, i could only get 1 bed (King/Queen/Double) instead of 2 beds + all other things like toothbrushes, towels etc for 2 people instead 3 + breakfast for 2 not 3 if that's included. Anything else?

Ok, the reason i ask this question is i simply cannot find a hotel has a room for 3 people available during a particular period.

Anyone has similar experience? And things that i need to be aware of??

  • If its for a single night you are fine, if it is for an extended period and they do find out, they will charge you extra or ask you to leave.

    • Yes, just 1 night. I might try to ask them to arrange 2 beds.

  • If this was Japan, you can get another single room… half price than a double..

    • Really? Good to know. That's what the price should be like in Australia.

    • Hi

may I know which hotel in japan do halfprice ? next year im heading to tokyo 3 adults 1 toddler ( 3 years old )

    If it's a busy hotel, I don't think they'd find out

  • Does the hotel offer a rollaway bed? Do they have rooms with 2 double beds?

Having 3 people in a room designed for 2 is gonna be really squishy. Call the hotel and see if they have any larger rooms. Call as if you are making a new booking don't mention you already have a booking…

If you stayed in a motel in America you would probably be sweet. Just about every room we stayed in had two twin Queen/King sized beds. Not sure what sort of kinky setup they run over there but I'm not used to sharing my room with another couple.

    • No kinky setup, just a lot of large people.

You would be too if you could buy Ben and Jerrys at the supermarket for a dollar a pint.

  • If domestic and travel by car, this folding bed is handy - from experience.

  • doubt they would find out unless they scan every person that goes inside the hotel and out and know which room everyone has - which is unlikely

you can easily just walk out in 2 or all together and they wouldn't question you IMO

  • at checkin say you have snoring problems, and your wife/husband could do with a good night sleep, any chance of 2xdouble bed room…
if not just sleep in one bed…. one of you could go out and "pickup" maybe you have a kinky relationship
