Current cheapest Nokia phone for maps

I am traveling through Europe soon and want to take a no-data GPS phone with me.

I understand Nokia maps best, so where can I get an el-cheapo nokia phone just for maps….looking to spend under $100

Thanks

Well the Lumia 640 is $129

Not exactly at your budget but it is the cheapest L640 around and you can pick it up in store rather than having to pay for shipping.

The Lumia 532 is pretty cheap $39 bucks, and sometimes, ColesWorths sell it for $29 bucks. Check your catalogue.

but the screen is smaller and not as readable.

For unlocking services there's an Ozbargainer offering it for about $20 bucks.

Got a 532 for $19 with a previous deal from BigW (actually about $18 with MEbank Card)

Got it solely for your purpose. Amazing bang for buck. Shows how much profit is in the flagship phones.

  • Don't you mean "Here maps"?

  • Google Maps does have offline maps.

Here maps is also available on iOS and android.

    • Problem with Google is that is only saved a fairly small area at a time.

You could save lots of small areas but it's a hassle.

Just download an app with offline maps. I have one for America, was $5 Inc USA and Canada maps. Europe maps were a few bucks extra.

  • You do not need a nokia phone to get the maps… their maps are now available to all via here.maps.
Get an android phone and go to the app store, install the here maps app then connect to wifi and install all the maps for the countries you want… f r e e :-)

  • 'Here Maps' is also available for the iPhone if you have one. It's an excellent bit of mapping software.

  • Go with the Nokia N8 - has a 12mp CZ camera and fm transmitter so you can play your own tunes through the radio and get directions.
