I told him to call up Toowong, he camped out there before they opened but in the end he said he got one from Helensvale (assuming toowong store got Helensvale to put it away for him). He called me when he was on his way back with one.

Yeah, not good service, I didn't even call yesterday, just today.
I had had called all the other Northern stores from Brisbane to Caboolture (bar Arana Hills) and all said none.
I did pick up a PS4 controller for $50 genuine, brand new.

Something was up, Toowong said they Indro had two. When I called they said one. When I picked it up, one staff member (who originally put it aside for me) told another to tell me there is another one if I want it but this was stamped on by an older female staff member who seemed to feel very strongly about it and said no, there's only one. None of this was directed at me, I was just listening, I didn't even directly say I want two, more how many are there. Seemed to me that the older female staff member wanted it for herself.The only way I gathered for them to conclusively check is by them looking it up on what I believe they called a PDP ??? Possibly a hand held stock taking device as a couple staff said they would have to put me on hold while they grabbed one to check other stores.
All in all, Amanda was a great help at Indro in securing one for me. The service from the "service counter" was interesting as I stood there for a couple of minutes waiting while two younger female staff members did other duties (one was poking around with the TACC), other was "playing" with hangers.
Britta - thanks for posting this… it was such a great deal. I was hunting for an xbox one lately and luckily had a good few friends throw me this thread. Some earlier than others, thank god. I had a lot of trouble getting information from the stores too by phone. Apparently this wasn't a deal, it's a clearance item, so that's why it was so hard to get a hold of. I found one and now setting it up. Got it from helensvale. You're a champ for sharing. Merry Christmas.
