Cheap bluetooth watch for call ID / notifications -- fitness not required

I'm looking to buy two sets of smartwatches for my hearing impaired parents who just can't seem to pickup their phones when it rings.. usually because they tend to leave their phones lying around everywhere rather than carry them on their person. End result is that they have a lot of missed phone calls between each other.

I bought them two Xiaomi MiBand watches. For some reason, the Huawei Y550 does not pair with it and neither does the RedMi Note 2. I also couldn't pair it with my own LG G2.

If anybody wants a Miband, you can have it for free ($6 postage fee applies). claimed!

The watches need

  1. To have a vibration function
  2. Need to be fairly small,
  3. A battery life of at least a week, rather than just one day.
  4. Need to be pretty low budget (sub $50 dollars)
  5. A display that can tell the time
  6. Preferably IP65 water resist.

They do not need

  1. Pedometer or HRM or fitness tracking
  2. Interchangeable wristbands
  3. the ability to install apps, or use as a remote, or see SMS messages or
  4. Microphone or camera functions

Anyone got any suggestions?

  • Kmart's activv brand isnt bad, if you can find the 1st gen band it will be really cheap.

  • Under $50? Maybe the old second hand Pebbles?

  • There's a lot of generic ones from eBay that would do the trick. Bought a pair for the folks for around $30ea - and they've both lasted for around a year now.

    • Any suggetions? Look up on Gearbest, everything is rated 5 stars, since all the negative reviews are censored….

      • Something like this would do the job. Vibrates and shows caller ID when receiving a call and is simply a watch aside from that. Keeps things as simple as possible.

  • i am also looking for similar but pairing with iPhone 6 and which can read sms or make calls.

  • Try this one, I bought it for my brother's birthday, received on last week, haven't open it yet, therefore can't make any review of it by myself, but there are tons of reviews you can find on the internet.. I think this is the best Chinese cheapest smart watch out there…

    gearbest link..

please don't use standard shipping bcoz it'll take 60+days to deliver to Australia.. pay extra $5 for a good shipping….

    • Too bulky and complicated. Was hoping for something more basic and with longer battery life.

I am thoroughly considering the Vidonn X6.

  • Can you stretch to this? https://www.telstra.com.au/mobile-phones/wearables/striiv-fu…

At least if it won't work you can return it!
