    Definitely not around this time, as its Chinese New Year. All production halts, and price increases as a result

      Do you know when their next sales are likely to be? I'm not sure if they have the same type of sales cycles that we have…or different.

        Cube and Teclast don't inflate their prices at or after CNY, so you're safe. If anything they're going to be reduced as they become older.

        @Clear:

        The manufacturer never does (no reason, they might make a couple more cents per unit), but a lot of dealers do. Prices will reach its lowest when a new unit is released, probably with the next gen Core-M… whenever that is. Or whenever Cube release a new tablet with a better screen/more storage or something

        @tatsulotto: Some manufacturers control the price of their products and decide when a promotion can be done. Or they'll just say it can only be discounted by X amount. Elephone, Ulefone and MINIX do that.

        thanks for that Clear & tatsulotto. I missed out on the Chinese 11/11 sale, but am not in a huge hurry so will wait a bit more if necessary.

        I did buy it twice on ebay and twice the seller (using 2 different selling names) cancelled my order. I was a bit peeved with that but ebay didn't care.
