  I actually could have had it at $59 and left it. Reviews are TERRIBLE.

        •Low Screen Resolution >never got my magnifying glass out to count the pixels
        •No Built-in Viewfinder >Very few have those these days.
        •No RAW Shooting >not needed
        •No Full HD Video > Video is perfect
        •Small 1/2.3" (6.17 x 4.55 mm) sensor > @ under $200 what do you want (@$59 it is a ripper of a camera)

        You base you opinion on reviews… I base mine on owning 2 of them..

        Please give a link to the camera you consider superior… with an equivalent zoom lens and for less $.

        Zoom and price aren't everything. Save your $$$ for a better camera and you won't get frustrated and get bad results for your effort. I have spent a lot more on cameras and am glad I did.

        As I said… from owning 2 of these (along with many other cameras thanks to ozb :-) ..
        It is a good camera.
        I would not compare it with a $1000 one though…

        We'll have to disagree. The functions I mentioned I use quite regularly. We must do very different photography. Heck even many phones now feature UHD never mind FHD video. This camera may have been ok a decade ago for casual shooters.

        Why on earth do you need 2 of these?
