Mobile App for Budgeting?

Hello,
I am thinking of starting a budget, to keep track of what and how much I spend. I'm just wondering, what app are you using for budgeting and why do you like your app?

Thanks!

Just started using your App on Mac and loving it! Cheers

  • I'm using Solver to track my incidental spend (books, games,… ozbargain) and then when I'm feeling organised I put it into a Number's spreadsheet with info out of my online banking and tax return. I like this because it's very flexible, can deal with cash & credit spending and USD/JPY etc.

But I'm only interested in a general after-the-fact budget to work out where my money went and what rate I'm saving at. If you need a planning budget because you're tight on funds (or saving for something) this might not be the best solution.

Not a mobile app but probably the most feature rich - pulls data straight from your bank for premium users otherwise you can manually export and import data from your bank.

  • I use CWMoney, it help to track expense spend, you can input you balance at beginning as well as income and expense and it will give you real time position.

I use https://goodbudget.com it's based on the envelope budgeting method.
I like it because of the simplicity, I set my budget for the month and track my expenses as I go.

    • thanks!! I had a look at them all and decided to go with good budget. Working great so far! Intuitive and easy to get a hang of

  • Late to the party sorry but I use You Need a Budget.
