Apparently these Apple ones are genuine leather.
I must say, mine does look a lot better after wear and tear than the cheap copies.
RRP $129 for a 'smart' cover is truely insulting. Even Microsoft Surface type cover is considered overpriced. But this is worse, it is just a cover……

Leather is luxury material. Plastic is cheaper. There's choice, so, buy what suits you.

it doesn't mention that this is an "Apple" branded/produced product. I'm pretty sure that if it was, they'd be doing a song and dance about it.
It is from Telstra so i doubt they would be selling knock offs.
pluss the photos match the genuine Apple Smart Cases.
My guess is that these are legit Apple cases from a legit seller.
If not, should be pretty easy to get a refund from Telstra

They are probably not allowed to say if they are or not. But they definitely look the same as the ones on the Apple website.
