Does the Alcatel Pixi 4.5 have 1GB RAM?

Has anyone actually purchased these?

I looked at the Telstra Pixi 4.5 and that only has 512MB RAM, apparently the 4 inch versions listed for 1GB RAM only have 512MB as well…

Should I just avoid the whole range because it seems dubious? I know on my Y550 with very few apps installed, the idle RAM usage is around 530MB.

I was looking for the LG Leon but missed out…

Have you looked at the Telstra Buzz 4gx? I am looking for an unlockable, 1gb ram phone too.

If you are looking for another phone at a good price might be worth a look?

Look at the specs tab. Quad core Mediatek (not Snapdragon), 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM, 8MP camera (not 5). Camera has no auto-focus and needs a fair bit of light for detail but does have LED flash. Also if you have tight pockets you may swipe into the camera from the lock screen. You won't find a better phone for $69 local stock. Also comes with Lollipop 5.1.

The Telstra one is the cheapo version. You don't want an Android phone with 512MB RAM in 2016.

  yeah the camera is a bit shit, but everything else seems ok. it's pretty responsive unlike a lot of cheapies. haven't tried throwing anything intensive like 3d games or anything, but I'm not really into doing that on my phone anyway
