I think I need both LCD and digitizer replaced correct?
I've found 3 options on eBay, each being slightly different but with the same name. Can you shed some light on these please?

Hi a month ago I smashed the screen of Asus Zenfone 2 ( Great Phone ) so I wanted to get it repaired. Apparently just like you I had no idea what to do, your screen looks really bad as compare to mine. My phone touch was working fine only the glass was smashed so I ordered only Digitizer without knowing that the assembly needs LCD as well, I took the phone and glass that I received to many phone repair shop they all said the same thing that they need the full set to repair this phone which means Digitizer + LCD so I ordered this

The description of this item said its Pre-Assembled I just received it few days ago but I didn't take it to the repair shop because I purchased new phone ( Samsung Galaxy Note EDGE ). What I think is the Option 2 and Option 3 both are same LCD is attached to it just different Sellers hence different price. Go for option 2 ( Again I may be wrong because I haven't went to repair shop yet ). Or maybe ask the (Option 2) Seller that is the LCD and digitizer comes pre assembled or separately?
