(PSN US) PS4/PS3 Life Is Strange Season Pass Ep. 1-5, $10 USD (~ $13.73 AU) 50% off

140

Life is Strange is 50% off until 6/12/2015, meaning it's only $10 US for all 5 episodes of this amazing game. I've only played the first episode so far, but looking forward to playing the rest of the game this weekend. One of the good things about this game is that I can play it with my wife!

Apparently it is part of their "Game Awards Sale", so get it while you can!

US PSN account required.

PS3 version is also on sale here

pretty good… think i'll grab it for approx $14AUD… $30 on the AU store right now for anyone wondering.

    • I hope the AU store also gets the same sale, I still got a bunch of 20% of PSN cards :)

  • Any difference between the ps3 and ps4 version?

    • a quick google search took me to reddit, and apparently there are just some cosmetic differences and higher resolution as this is not a graphically intensive game.

Would be interesting to know if buying it for one platform also allows you to get it for the other one like Flower and Journey.

I've being playing the PS3 version of TT' GoT. There's a lot of stuttering in the voices, with some voice sequences totally skipped (subtitles save the day there), and some times it just freezes, like it's trying to load more things into the memory.

Life is Stranger is by a different Dev, but i suspect there might be similar issues.

Great game, worth playing at any price.

It is actually discounted on the Australian Xbox store, for those with an XB1 - $13.48 down from $26.95 (you must be logged in to see the discounted price):

I hope that the Game Awards sale will come to the Australian PSN store too.

  • How does everyone pay with their US PSN accounts?

I just tried to create one but it's not accepting my CBA Mastercard Debit card

i have an amazon US account with my AU credit card on it.

I bought a US$10 prepaid PSN card in amazon and then entered the code on my US PSN account and purchased the game.

      • Thanks, just bought one of these, after failing to get either of my PayPal accounts, or Entropay (virtual US credit card - which somehow today triggered getting suspended), or my Aussie CC working.

I had to add a US billing address to Amazon (I use the same one for everything - in Oregon where there is no sales tax) alongside my 2 Aussie ones. Was worried for a while as it took ages (like several minutes) on the Amazon processing payment screen, before finally saying something about sorry its taking so long but some digital products require extra verification.
But after about 10 mins the code came through - added to my wallet - and bought the game which is now downloading.

    • You need to use a fake billing address as well. Presumably you used a fake address to create a US PSN Account, so use the same details for your Amazon account and then it should accept the payment from your Australian Debit or Credit Card.

Even though the billing address doesn't match my NAB Visa Debit card address, the payment goes through and I get the code instantly.

  • It's just gone 33% off at Steam too: $13.39USD. I might get it there.
