    Thanks DW…got one.

Instead of getting the jump drive just get a second card. Joined Club Catch and scored two for just under $55. Thanks Op.

If you need faster for burst shooting you want something like the Sandisk Extreme Pro 95MB/s
    http://www.cameramemoryspeed.com/reviews/sd-cards/sandisk-ex…

Cheapest I'm seeing on staticice for the Sandisk Extreme Pro 95MB/s is $55 + shipping (just under $15 for my address in Sydney 'burbs).
    http://www.megabuy.com.au/sandisk-sd-extreme-pro-64gb-p42293…

    • that last link does not support the a7rii as it need a U3 card and that's a U1
Your link to sandisk review is a U3 card
this deal is a U3 card also

so your last two links are different cards

Edit: my bad "Older versions of this card are be labeled U1; it is essentially the same card, the label was updated to add the new speed class as defined by the SD Association."
but does this mean a camera such as the a7rii will reject it in 100mb 4k mode?

      • I don't know about your A7RII (Nice camera btw. I'm jealous ;-)).

There was one 1 star report on Amazon:
"Not Compatible with Sony RX100 IV 100mbps High Bitrate Video

Does not meet the minimum requirements for the RX100 IV. The camera crashes at 30 seconds in any 100mbps recording mode. This should not be a problem, since 100mbps is only about 13MBps. The card may not be able to sustain consistent write speeds for long periods of time. All other photo and video modes are fine, but 4K/1080p120 at 100mbps is a big draw for this camera."

If your primary use is video your options are take a gamble or walk away I guess…

        • Primary do not use video but it is disappointing to have a great card that leaves you without an option
it is amazing how all these cards are so different with so many different ways to rate performance

          @thelastnoob:

I very seriously doubt the 633x card would be compatible given both the 600x and the 2000x aren't but it is possible that being newer it would work. I wouldn't bet on it though. Clearly compatibility is not just about speed. Personally if I wanted the option, in your shoes I'd stick with the Sandisk.

I already have 32GB extreme plus and extreme pro cards so adding 2 64GB cards for $55 is perfect for me. Even if it's not the fastests in my cameras I often shoot a lot for events and I should not be able to shoot twice as much as I could for that $55 with some slowdown on burst shooting. That would only make a difference for action events like jousting and airshows and if I'm careful about when I use the other cards I can get away with it.

I just hope they're reliable. Some people have had better luck than others with Lexar and the first time I lose images I will throw those cards away and the $55 will be wasted, along with an event's worth of captures.

  • I am confused, so $39.99, if join club free trial $20 off $30 spend, should be $19.99 and use app will be $14.99?

    Is that what you mean?

    • You'll have to pay postage. Mine was $9.99. But by adding another item making the total exceed $50 will give you free postage when joining the club catch trial. :)

      • Have to another item, isn't it? I tried two card didn't work.

        • Hmm. I didn't try that. Just make sure you sign up for club catch trial. It'll give you the free postage + using app gave me another $5 off. Using the visa checkout gave me the $20 off.

        • @ricerocket:

It gave me the learn more button may I am too slow already out of stock.

        • 2 cards worked for me.

    • Here was what I did for 2 cards:
      2x$39.99
Free shipping due to joining Club Catch. (Don't forget to turn off auto renewal)
      -$5 first purchase
      -$20 checkout with visa
      = $54.98

      • I am too slow out of stock now but the cart didn't give me free shipping on my mobile.

        • Had to join club catch.

        • @syousef:

          I did.

        • @superforever:

I logged out and back in. Perhaps that was the difference. I don't know. Anyway I hope you are able to take advantage of club catch in the next month to get free shipping on something else. Again don't forget to turn off auto-renew or that'll become one expensive non-purchase.

        • @syousef:

          Thanks already unticked it.

Why next month? I can still get free deliver if I find something to buy, right?

        • @superforever:

          Free trial is 30 days.

  • Excellent price. Got one. Thanks.

  • Was going to jump on it but now reporting as SOLD out

  • Soldout while i was creating my visa checkout

    • Same sold out while trying to add another stuff.

  • Sold out

  • Got one thanks OP

  • Opps too slow.. was held trying to work out what the hell the visa checkout thing is all about.

  • Thanks OP

  • Bummer, missed this.

  • Need a good card for D610. What would be a good card for this camera..

    • I usually get 16gb Sandisk Extreme for my cameras. Never had any problems and they're pretty fast. I also got a D610, with the bigger files from the 24mpix, maybe 32gb would be better, especially if you shoot in RAW.

      • Thanks Dan. What is the write speed of the card?

        • Usually 45MB/s. I have an Extreme Pro CF which is 90MB/s, but costs more. The Extreme ones are a good balance between quality/speed and price IMO. You can get considerably faster for more $ but only really necessary if you are doing lots of fast shooting and filling the buffer.

EDIT - just check and you can get some Extreme cards with 60 or 90MB/s now.
