Good Value Large Display Tablets for Reading Sheet Music

I'm looking for a good tablet, particularly with a large, clear display, primarily to use to display sheet music (for piano - and replacing bulky music folders).

I think the Galaxy Tab S in a 10.5" was my best bet, but they seem pretty much out of stock everywhere I try (missed out on the DSE sale of these units). Unfortunately the Tab S2 is both expensive at this stage in its life cycle, and goes up to a 9.7" which is really starting to push into the "too small" range.

Are there any good deals on tablets with displays big and clear enough to make music reading pleasurable enough?

  • There's a Cube i7 Remix tablet, which is 11.6 inches. It's around $250 from GeekBuying and Gearbest.

And a review on this tablet

There's also the Chuvi Vi10 Ultimate which is a 10.6 inch tab.

    • Wow, thank you for these suggestions. Two tabs I had never heard of before, and they really might fit the bill. The i7 even seems to come in at under $300, which is extremely cost effective. Thank you, I'll look at the reviews.

  • What about a used Galaxy Note Pro 12.2? It'll also come with a Wacom stylus that you can use to annotate your music sheets.
