    • my thoughts exactly …

  • Thanks for letting us know. We've had a look and all systems are fine.

  • ebay has better prices for most the watches with free p+h. can you go any lower?

Maybe some examples of deals would convince me to sign up, but 'up to 60%' doesn't really mean much

I'm a member, so for your benefit here are some examples:

      G-Shock Digital - Black
      G7510-1
      $99.99 (from $219)

G Shock Analog & Digital Combo - Black & Silver
      AW590-1
      $99.99 (from $219.00)

      Edifice Active Analog - Silver
      EFA119BK-1
      $129.99 (from $229.00)

      Baby-G G-Ms Digital & Analog Combo - Silver & Light Blue
      MSG300D-2
      $149.99 (from $349.00)

Duo Telememo 30 Analog - Silver & Black
      AQ180W-7
      $42.99 (from $99.95)

Unfortunately you'll have to look them up to get pictures. There are quite a few others too (22 in total, if I count correctly).

As for membership, well I signed up last time I saw it because I didn't see why not to. Some of the deals are pretty good (quite cheap, but not necessarily crazy cheap), mostly clothes though and I'm hesitant to buy clothes online (due to fitting etc.). One annoying thing is that you cannot combine postage from different 'campaigns' (so if you buy Casio watches and clothes at the same time, you cannot combine postage). This has prevented me buying some smaller priced items in the past.

Normally membership is from an existing member email invite only, so it's nice that it's been 'opened up' as such. Just FYI - Members get a $10 credit for any invited members that purchase something, which is a nice bonus for the invitor. It looks like this offer is opened up from the site rep though, so there isn't any one person getting lots of referral bonuses. (That said… if you're thinking of becoming a member, and want to be nice to an existing member… I think you see where this is going!).

In case anyone is interested, the other promotions that are on at the moment are Kathy van Zeeland, Gregory Ladner, KiArgo, Roberto Cavalli, Ryans Toys - Toy Story (havent heard of any of them except for the movie toy story.. prob means I need to get out more!).

  • Pretty useless. Nice try at harvesting email addresses though.

  • not even cheap, does this vendor really think that a little chop off a ridiculously high RRP even matters on ozbargain?

    • -2

Not commenting on the value of the RRP (or discounted product for that matter), but I think you'll agree most of the discounts are far from a "little chop", they're mostly less than half price.

(Going to +ve to cancel the sole -ve, because I think the reason being a 'little chop' when they're less than half price is not particularly well justified).

  • +2

Well I am going to neg it because the vendor is just posting an ad

AND I have to give him my email address to see the "deals"

unless I have missed something this is just the vendor promoting his wares

    • I'd agree with that… just didn't agree with the "little chop" comment when it's under half price.
