Best way to transfer/backup all photos from iPhone to PC? Including hundreds of photos from text messages.

Hi guys,

Need your advice.

What is the best way to transfer/backup all photos from iPhone, especially to PC?
Including hundreds of photos from text messages.

1. Tried iTunes - my laptop may not be powerful, so find it takes forever to syn, sometimes worry to make mistakes, hang and then lose my photos. So iTunes is out IMO.
2. Tried simply use lightning cable to connect and use Windows to transfer pictures and videos. But this does not include photos in text messages. Save one by one from text messages to camera roll would be very painful, with 300+ photos.
3. Like 4Media ipad to PC Transfer - great program. But iPhone version is 4Media iPhone Max is like $50 for the workable
   version.

  I'm not a apple person but how about signing up to Dropbox and getting all your pics uploaded to it? If you have two many pics copy them across in different batches.

    Thanks but I'm old school and still not trusting the cloud drive.
    Just not sure what secret it may be in there because I also try to backup my wife's phone,
    Also, don't want to pay subscription if over limit.

  Also find backup on hard drive is an issue. Over the years, I had not less than half a dozen hard drives. Each of them may have used a different program to backup a laptop. Not sure how to restore, as I have forgotten which program I used to backup.

  Save photos as you receive them and then use PhotoSync to transfer them.

    Thanks, but wife did not save photos as messages came. so it is now too painfully slow to do it this way. about 300 +photos,

  I would recommend iFunbox. It's a free app that does not require your iphone to be jailbroken.
