Hey all,
Woke up to check the latest games coming out, and saw Aliens vs Predator at CD WOW on the PC for $40.95.
They do free shipping as well which is nice. Haven't seen it this cheap anywhere else yet.
Also saw these for any PC gamer out there:
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Limited Edition (PC) - $53.95
Mass Effect (PC) - $20.95 [In case no one picked this up during Steam's massive sale]
Still too much… Very disappointing game.
I figured $40 for a new release game was a bargain, considering EB's charging in the $80's, and JB was in the $70's.
It looks like heaps of fun. Have you played through it? Why's it bad?

Save your money for other games. I played it and it was terrible. Unless you're a huge fan, you won't enjoy it at all. But that's just what I feel, you might enjoy it. Besides, there's no shortage of awesome games at the moment. 2010 started off really great with Bioshock 2, Heavy Rain, Mass Effect 2, Darksiders and with soon to be released Final Fantasy XIII, Splinter Cell and God of War III.
I was referring to AVP. Battlefield 2 MP demo was great. Oh yeah. Forgot to mention another awesome upcoming game: Red Dead Redemption. That's gonna kick ass, I reckon.
Just very disappointing, I was a massive fan of the original games and this one was a big let down, the animations, cut scenes and story is ok, but the gameplay and overall repetitiveness just gets on your nerves, the review on gamespot is pretty much spot on. It's enjoyable for a short while but at the end of the day you will just wish you were playing the original.
I thought the game was reasonable. I did find it incredibly difficult to enjoy the game when your the marine though :0)
Good price, I had mine pre-ordered through steam.
Multiplayer is the best part for me, I played the first stage of the Marine missions and it was quite fun.
Definately stressful playing on the hardest difficulty.
For me the flaws were,
* No night vision for marines (as per the first games, and movies)
* No crouch!
