  • Do they have AU store? And are the products genuine? Can anyone recommend me if I should buy from this site or not?

The website mentioned in the deal is their Australian online store.

      • Thanks op.

    • They are well known in UK, been around for quite a while.

      Yes, genuine stuff.

Ordered a few times from them, always been good quality.

Anyone remember that Slazenger sale they had, where alot of stuff was $1? The gear was suprisingly good quality for the price.

Yep ordered a ton of stuff for next to nothing and while it wasn't what I'd deem excellent quality it was well within the realms of Slazanger etc which was quite good .

    • Absolutely. They're huge in the UK, where they are based. I bought a few things there when I was travelling around Europe and the prices were great as well.

If you're into Football (soccer) it's the company that Mike Ashley (owner of Newcastle United) owns.

    Keep Away From Fire

    errr say what ?

    • Most synthetic fabrics will melt into your skin if they come into contact with fire. In comparison thin cotton will burn up so it's considered a better material safety wise.

    • Pierre Cardin! Groovy!

  • Shipping is $19.98 - kills the deal. Please add to title

Depends how much you order, needed some shoes and at $12-$20 a pair with shipping 4 pairs was under $90, added in a few jumpers for $10 too. Thanks OP

    • Do they still have free shipping if order is over $x amount? I couldn't see it.

      • My guess:
        Over $100 shipping is 19.98
        Under $100 shipping is 9.98

        • It says here Standard delivery from $9.99 http://au.sportsdirect.com/customerservices/barlindeliveryfa…

        • I placed an order the other day for 2 pairs of jeans (they had Levi's going for just over $30) and some shorts, total was $49, shipping was a smidgen under $10.

        • @Jimmy007:

It says here Standard delivery from $9.99

          It says "from only $9.99!"

        • @CandyMan: That's what I meant lol

          "FROM"

        • My two previous orders ages ago were free shipping over $90 or so. So I assumed wrongly they still would have it.
Anyway love this place, and orders were both perfect.

  • Thanks picked up a few things.

  • Shipping came up at $39.99 for me, maybe because I ordered heaps.

One thing to remember is that the stuff you will by is Big W / K mart quality as the brands are all pretty much the ones you see there these days so don't spend a lot thinking it will be super qualitygear ffrom good brands of yesteryear.

  • Thanks, ordered 2 UnderArmour shirts and a pair of leggings, delivery came to $9.99. Hopefully there is still some quality control there!

  • Thanks :) Puma 50% off sale items are in transit and now this ! Gym clothes sorted :)

too soon, i still wear slazenger every day

  • Thanks OP. $19.99 for postage for relatively large order.

Be aware that the sizes are all over the place. You may get products from the same brand labelled the same size but the actual size (dimensions) of the items will be very different.
Also actual sizes of some products do not correspond with the Size table on the website.
And keep in mind that the return postage is to be paid by the customer, so the cost of the postage can be greater than the cost of the item you want to return.

agreed….ive purchased items that varied a fair bit even though they were the same brand/type….almost a size on one pair of jeans, and some small size kangol chino shorts i bought were more like a medium fit on me & id probably need xsmall which ive never had to purchase (30-31" waist)….so it really depends on the brands sizing and the sizing chart is just a guide

customer pays for return means you wont end up returning it unless its an expensive item. my advice is buy one of something …then if it suits and you need more, order again. having said that quality can be good….slazenger gear i bought is fine for bumming around in, kangol jeans & chinos are good for same, soviet shirt & jumper are very good quality and nice design / fit.

  • Are the sizes on display UK or US?

  • -1

be aware that it seems this company sells a lot of low quality reject type stuff. either fragile or poor mobility/design from my purchasing experience.

  • Don't know if anyone is interested but they may be an unethical business who you might want to inform yourself about before purchasing from them. Just an FYI
