Buying Volleyball Poles that are easily Portable

Hi we are a Church youth group looking to buy some Volleyball poles that are strong and sturdy yet easily portable to set up. Just wondering if anyone here can point us in the right direction to buy some of these decent gears so we can play volleyball at any park any time?

also possibly looking for a net, but we already have a decent one for the time being. thanks

  • How much are you looking to spend?

  • How high do the poles need to be ?
You could buy a 6m aluminium pipe and cut it down from Capral aluminium
And you could buy 2x besser block bricks and a bag of pre-mix concrete from Bunnings to make the pole bases.
You'll need to ensure you leave a slot in the concrete for your pole to fit into so roll up a piece of newspaper slightly bigger than your pole diameter before pouring your concrete into the brick.
Use zip ties to secure your net to the poles.
    $50 max.

  • Get some bamboo or old tent poles. Some rope (clothesline from $2 shop) and some pegs for stability.

  • Thanks for the responses guys. altomic : the tent poles wouldn't be stable . I'm not sure about clotheslines either. but looking to spend about $100 mark and below.
