I wanted to get few people's opinion if this is a good deal.

not worth it. i don't see people would spend anything over $200 for good audio quite frankly. Sonos wireless speakers will do. Paying that much for a soundbar - no way! even if it's Sony (which probably gets parts made in China) anyways.

I don't get how a 5.1 Soundbar could work properly anyway, wouldn't there be inadequate seperation between the left and right channels?
