TL;DR: Fancy leather case containing selected bottles, Jars and a cocktail book. Allows you to carry multiple ingredients including garnishes to create signature cocktails. Ideal for travels, picnics, etc.

I figure it's better than paying for hotel room bar fridge prices.

  Keep in mind this still has to go in checked luggage, customs will make you empty those bottles even though they are under 100ml since they aren't sealed and they're unmarked.

  Seems really expensive for some empty glasses and basic utensils in a bag that is only useful for its intended purpose.

  I'd much rather spend my $112 on a few overpriced drinks since you'd need to travel a fair bit to make up that cost and then only drink in your room.

    You forgot picnics and day trips out, not just hotels/travels. I'm sure the recipient of this gift has enough imagination to think of other creative things she can do with it.
