Seems overkill, like sure it would be nice to get 10-15 per charge but one would imagine other features had to be impacted to get these numbers. If were that simple more phones would be doing it. 1-2 days is a massive jump to 10-15

A bit sus, according to description by GearBest,
    "Product weight: 0.184 kg
    Package weight:0.554 kg"
A power bank with 10000 mah weighs at least ~350 g. But if be fine with a heavier phone for more juice though.

Considering many top end phones don't last a day, I am all in favour of anything that makes phones a mm or two thicker with better battery life. So I hope these guys sell thousands.

      thousands ROFL

Try Milions for any phone to be remotely successful

And problem for most phone batteries is non phone use rather than phone use… like Settero below says.

ah so they get a battery that holds 4x the charge of say a s6 , and somehow the battery life jumps 7.5x ? ( when used as a mp3 player and not a phone that is )

HD vs QHD, QHD has negative (to put it lightly) effect on the battery.

Also, SoC doesn't look like it's going to use a lot of battery, 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 is what Galaxy S6 uses as the LITTLE cores in big.LITTLE configuration. I know that Mediatek one has worse finFET, but I'd assume that it'd consume less battery than Exynos 7420.

Plus, Chinese vendors always overstate what their phones are capable of.

I was reading this article today and then I saw this. He was lamenting how his LG G3's 3000mah battery barely lasted him a full day.

I'm going to email the author of that blog and tell him to get one of these. Problem solved :)

Gearbest, lol won't get the phone for a year after its been released.

That's why they are banned from this site

It looks promising on paper with its unique features - big battery, reverse charge.

I never understand why no company (excluding one or two e.g. Motorola) use default Nexus Stock Android OS OR Google does not allow anyone to use stock Nexus Android OS. The hardware seems good enough as selling point.

My experience with custom Roms especially Cyanogen is not good. They never seems to be a finished product. The software/skin on these Chinese phones is crap and never gets updated. These companies don't seem to make any money from the software.

  • Will this be the next big phone? I'd say the concept has been around for a long time and there has been phones with similar concept. There were phones with 6,000 mah, etc etc. I bet more people know about S6, G4, 6S, 6P and 5X than those Chinese phones with big battery.

  • as if you would order something from gearbest anyway.

    1. put order in from gearbest, pay with paypal.
    2. one month later lodge claim with paypal
    3. question oneself for thinking they would actually deliver this time.
  • didnt bother to click after I saw gearbest

    • I'm sure you can order it from other retailers, question is 'is there a value in this phone'

  • Take half a day to charge it?
