    This is a great little machine and i was blown away by how powerful it is after coming from a more commercial style of high pressure water cleaner. This will definitely do wonders to your driveway, and im sure you could get it done in 2hours, but it might be a rushed job. I just used it on our backyard pavers area about 10m x 5m, but i did it over a few days.

    Your going to want the "GERNI PATIO PLUS" attachment for any big concrete areas like that. Works so much faster. I've got one of the other gerni models (1820psi) that included the attachment in the pack and works pretty good.

        Interesting to find someone that likes the patio attachment. I have found it pretty ineffective and never use it. I just use the wide spray attachment instead. Your milage may vary.

        Gerni has 2 patio cleaners. The Gerni Classic Patio and the Patio Plus. Which one have you used for your comment?

        I find the Patio Plus a perfect tool for medium duty driveway/patio work. Much faster then using a wide spray. Of course its not as effective as the concentrated narrow nozzle or a professional driveway cleaner's machine.

  Thanks for sharing, tempted to take a punt but the main reason for me purchasing a pressure washer is for under car cleaning (4WD & beachwork). Looks like Karcher has the superior undercar cleaning kit. Off to google what the best solution is :)

    Let us know how you go! Anecdotal evidence from my searching is that Bosch and Gerni are better than Karcher due to having metal rather than plastic pumps, but I think the Bosch is compatible with Karcher accessories to maybe that's the way to go. I haven't tried any of them so defer to the opinion of people who own them.

  i need it for drain and gutter cleaning. we have a blocked drain. also might use it for car cleaning.

    You wouldn't normally use a pressure cleaner like these for unblocking drains - what are you expecting it to do (and how)?

    Furthermore, they'd make a MASSIVE mess if you attempted to use one to clean a gutter.

    For your drain, you need a plumber. For the gutters, just use a ladder.

      Karcher accessories fit bosch cleaner with the supplied adapter and gerni have their own accessories to do a similar job

        ROFL. I see.

        After recently spending $2500 for professional drain unblocking that used a huge truck-mounted pressure jetter plus an eel to cut the bad roots…

        … I highly doubt that twee little Karcher toy would be of much use on any drain that was actually blocked.

  I just upgraded from an electric pressure cleaner to this http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/Stanl… and boy do you notice a difference. I got it on the recent 20% off ebay sale, on top of their sale price of $499. Not saying this is a bad deal, but if you can justify the extra dollars you wont regret it in the long run.
