  • Gee good ol' Joyce is trying really, really hard now isn't he??

    • +3

Lazy, probably dreamed this one up in bed.

      sorry, couldn't help it :)

    • That's why Joyce gets his multi millions isn't it?

Are these pyjamas made in Australia seeing as Qantas claims to be the spirit of Australia?

  • +18

This is the closest I may ever get to business class. =(

  • +5

Bob Carr will be so jealous!

  • +2

Qantas are redesigning their pyjamas for mid 2016, so this is an interesting way to get rid of the old ones…

    • New First Class, but only a few "special editions" for business class. They'll be keeping these ongoing.

So you can rest assured that these PJs will remain current and in fashion for years to come.

    • A family member gave me a pair of these. The ones I got were really itchy :S

    • yay for slippers!

tired of using those socks as shoes

  • +1

damn wondering if they will do this in melbourne

  • They are basically disposable. They do not survive a wash. Make great rags however.

    • +3

I find the quality quite decent. I have a few sets of these and use them as PJs at home, the oldest set has survived a couple years of use and still feels fine.

    • Yeah mine last a few washes at most

      • My First class PJ's are more than one year old and still going. They have shrunk a bit after the first wash, but that's it. I learnt that after my Business class PJ, so I always asked for one size bigger PJ when I traveled with Qantas.
Difference between First and Business PJs are just the color.
        They are good quality though.

  • This is so amazing, thank you OP!!

Next thing Qantas will be paying taxes in Australia:)

    • I know!

Re taxes; Probably not anytime soon, given how much they have in recent losses to offset taxes on profits.

      • -2

Yep. If any company deserves a whack for dodging tax, it's not Qantas, given their recent performance.

        • -3

If I make a loss in my household I still have to pay tax. Sounds rather unfair to me….

        • @bargainslut: If you spent $100k more on expenses incurred in earning your income, you'd be rightly able to deduct the same in future years. Not rocket science.

      • If my company was making huge losses I wouldn't go around handing out fecking pyjamas….

        • +1

The pyjamas are the biggest loss, 1 million bucks a set, no tax that way ;)

I'm waiting for Dick Smith and Kogan to match this offer

  • I thought Tropfest had been cancelled?

    • +5

'Tropfest returns, thanks to CGU Insurance' 👍http://www.tropfest.com/au/news/tropfest-is-back/

  • These Pjs @ tropfeast will be like Sydney 2000 volunteers trackys at a retirement home! Everyone will have one.

  • Thanks OP! Signed up. I'm actually going to float Qantas link at my workplace, just for fun :)

  • They sell those PJs for like $10 at the qantas sale they have for their staff every year (they flog off stuff that nobody buys on the plane duty free, nothing worthwhile mind you). I scabbed a free pair in economy just showing my qantas contractor badge :D
