Topfield 3D Blu-Ray Player TF-G9700 at Dick Smith

Gday fellow bargainers…. came across this BD player for $99 at Dickies, possibly $90 (using Woolies 10% extra Dickies GC promo). Anyone has experience with this particular model and care to share their comments, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly? I understand this is a Region 4 player, but is one able to enable it to play other regions just like how you can do with Soniq? Thanks in advance.

  Do you want to play other region DVDs or Blu-Rays? Region 4 is for DVD…

  Also at that price it's really near the price of a main brand. IMO pick the same brand as your TV, that way the remote works a lot better!

  hey Spackbace, thanks for your response, i guess i wanna play both BD & dvd from other regions. I thought Topfield is a main brand, is it not? I use a projector rather than tv for movies, have el-cheapo Hisense tv for news etc, that's all….
