  • I was looking for something more than that lol

I've been shopping for one this Christmas too, and I bought this one. What you should look for is 3D brushing action (side to side, up and down and in and out brush head movement), as well as a high number of pulsations and occilations.

The Oral B pro 3000 does the 3D action, does 40,000 pulsations and 8,000 ocilations per minute. This is high-end spec similar to most of the very expensive electric brushes. Most cheap ones only do two-way brushing action or 3d with low pulsation rates around 20,000 per minute. Check the technical specs of whatever ones you're looking at.

I've found that the Pro3000 is the cheapest of the high-spec ones. The Pro1000 has very similar specs and is almost exactly the same price because most outlets are selling the Pro3000 as "Half price" for $99. I like the dark blue colour of the Pro3000 better and it has a little storage tray for the spare heads and a couple of different clean modes. Those things are all frills though, just look at the 3d action and high pulsation specs for whatever brush you shop for. I also liked the Oral-B because the replacement heads seem the most common in supermarkets too.

    • Thanks looks like a good choice but see its been less than this before,if im reading right its been out for a few years also.
Would have jumped at this if less but may hold of see if any sales have better deals or just give money instead.

      • Exactly what the guy above said… Those two features are what you should look for and the Pro 3000 gives the best bang for buck in a heads up comparison of models
