Using one currently and will agree it's good

  • What advantage does it have over a regular iron with steam functionality?

    • It accommodates 2.5 litres of water and is easier to move as the iron itself doesn't contain much water.

It produces a lot more steam than a normal iron would and also at higher pressure.

Basically makes the ironing job easier

We were looking at this today and almost got one, but went for the GC9550 instead. We had to get something since our existing iron broke. Unfortunately from memory the Good Guys in store price hadn't been updated so it was about $170 (not sure what it would have scanned at). Harvey Norman was much the same, but also had the model we ended up going with for $199 after discounts/rebates so we just went with that for the higher pressure. Had this been tagged at $237 we may have gone with it.

Not too fussed mind, partner loves it and if having the unit she wants makes her more likely to do my shirts it's money well spent. Saw some mixed reviews initially on productreview.com, but having a look at Amazon.co.uk's listing has left me feeling fairly confident in the choice.

  • I was thinking I could be smart and buy off eBay to get cashrewards extra 4% but its not eligible =[

Just bought the last one at Goodguys Chadstone

There were $237 tags placed over the $299 tags

    Thanks OP

  • So which barcode do we cut out. There's like a million barcodes on the box! There's no permanent barcode either, they're all stickers.

    • Nm. Found the barcode. It's the one with the lines.

      • I had the same question.. which lines ?
do u mind posting a picture of what u think the bar code is ?
