  I would have thought parcel post would have been a cheaper option than courier?

    Not really. I like ps2 because it doesnt use a USB slot, also it has some advantages in terms of being usable in bios at times where USB keyboards are not (even with USB legacy mode on). Plus if you're really so adverse to ps2 u can simply use a ps2-usb adapter.
