Advice on Cheap/Bargain 10" Tablets?

Looking to get a cheap 10" tablet for Netflix and YouTube streaming ONLY. As a graphic designer i'm usually all Apple for work, but I'd prefer to utilise my apple products for their work and not waste a screen for streaming in the background all afternoon. I don't need a million apps or anything other than these two things. So preferably the best resolution I can get for pittance and the ability to hold wifi connection and stream. I really have no idea what brands or where to start but would like it to be as cheap as I can get. Please help!!

Spend $79 and see if it cuts it for you.

Cheap and nasty. DSE aren't as good with returns as they used to be, too much of a risk for me.

      • Yeah but it's only $79.

Lucky I don't need to return the $98 iPad Air Demo 😝

Like they say, "buy the best you can afford". In this case, I think that'd be a quality brand, reconditioned tablet from a store with a decent reputation. An equivalently priced new tablet is bound to have lousy screen response and resolution. (Ainol 10" Android, I'm looking at you. What an apt brand name btw). Or at least, the recon will be better quality and viewing will be a better experience.

  • I bought a used nook hd+ from the states last year for about $100. Had to root it to cyanogen mod, but it suffices for my needs (occasionally watching things and reading comics). Screen is great and sound is alright
