This is the 2nd minion of the 3 basic minion building block toys available. Unfortunately, this was as low as they could go with the price, which is still below cost. It's still a bargain compared to other sources.

Limit 10 per an account. This coupon expires on 28/01/2016

This minion has 220 pieces, compared to the 1st one with 100 pieces. Hopefully, the quality will be as good. Coupon brings price down from $3.16 USD to $2.09 USD. Remember, these are small pieces, therefore not suitable for children under 9. Shipping should be 7-14 business days, I received my 1st minion on the 11th day. Do consider that there may be delays due to public holidays and the Christmas/New Years mail glut.

        going via normal checkout automatically removes the discount code hence reverts back to usd 4.24. it's a chore trying to figure this out. really crappy and dodgy setup to get email addresses i reckon

        I can't replicate the issue sorry, it won't allow me to apply the coupon again for a 2nd purchase. However, my 1st purchase/coupon application was successful. I had purchased the minion before posting it here to check it was working. I'm not sure why it would revert to the original price.

        edit: Just to confirm, if you're going via the normal checkout rather than straight to Paypal, you're saying that the Grand Total at the bottom of the page, after unticking the Shipping Insurance, it says $4.24 USD rather than $2.09 USD? And that when applying the coupon at the Shopping Cart it was successful in bringing the price down to $2.09 USD but reverts back up at checkout?

        I'll send a rep an email asking them to look into it.

    Has anyone other than myself been able to purchase the minion successfully at $2.09 USD?

    Some people are having problems, but I would like to confirm if its just only some people or everyone other than me having problems.

      Came up with $2.09US for me - order went through easily, although it did default to expedited shipping + insurance, which I had to alter.

      It says $1.99

      Proceed to pay, remove insurane and sub/grand total is $8.44?

      Edit:

      Without the coupon: $4.14 -> $3.16 (76%)
      With the coupon: $4.14 -> $1.99 -> $8.44 (424%)

      So it's cheaper to buy it without the coupon? :S

      Another Edit:

      I decided to trash everything and start again…

      With the coupon: $4.14 -> $1.99 ($2.15 saving) -> $6.29
      $6.29 - $4.14 = $2.15 Saving
      So $4.14 + $2.15 (Saving) = $6.29 So instead of saving $2.15, we're paying $2.15 extra…?

    came up at US$8.xx 1st time after clicking proceed to checkout. after trying various options including paypal link (shows $4.xx on paypal login) gone back, had to reapply coupon code and proceed to check out. new total is US$10.69

    Sorry guys, I'll have to contact them again. It seems theres something wrong with their systems. I was able to replicate your errors, initially it didn't happen. However, everytime i try now it happens. It might be because I applied the coupon and deleted it more than some limit, im guessing its the coupons current 10 order limit per account. I've tried it on both chrome and firefox, so its their system's problem. They might have some sort of coupon counter for each account which ticks up despite cancelling the coupon.

    Sounds like the problem has been fixed.

    A quick question to everyone interested in the costumed minions (and the pacman, monkey and the … whatever that orange thing is), of these which do you prefer? These ones are much more expensive therefore they would have to order a larger volume to get volume discounts to lower their costs. As such they might not be able to offer discounts on all the building block toys. To get the best price possible they would prefer to focus on a couple for now and if popular enough they might offer discounts on the others.

    Please respond with which you like in particular and would be willing to buy.

          Then do a massive order and refund/credit/bonus/something back the difference? :p

          That way, you have accurate numbers to order and everyone will be paying less than the expected/planned price…?

          Let's say Product X
          Set = 50
          Individual = 100
          You can order 150?

          Then the 50 sets, if you charged $Y and it costed $Z, then refund/credit/bonus/something $Y-$Z and we'll all be happy? :p
