So I finally pulled the trigger on a ps4 deal to play the unchartered collection.
I've seen a lot of deals for TLOU that required a US account.
As such I'm wondering how I'd go about having a US account and whether I also should have an AU account also?
How much value is ps+ at this time for ps4 games? I primarily play online on x1 and not planning to play online on ps4 any time soon.
The value of having a PS+ account is purely subjective, but for me I've been satisfied with what's been offered as free games to date.
There's been very few big releases turn up as a free game (Injustice and Infamous:First Light are the big names that come to mind that have been free games so far), but there's been plenty of other games which I've gotten plenty of game time out of (Rocket League was a popular freebie and I'm personally looking forward to Grim Fandango Remastered which is going to be free for January (whenever they update the games)).
I've heard that the deals are better on the US PS store though and believe they get different free games each month.
If you're not planning to play online on the PS4, my advice is save your cash as you haven't missed anything "must have" as of yet.
You can buy TLOU fairly cheap nowadays, there's a couple listed for $30 or thereabouts on ebay and it's fairly likely Gumtree will have similar, if not better results.
As for setting up a US account, sorry I can't remember exactly as I did it so long ago, but do know it was very easy to do.
