How can I make my website appear on Google searches?

I recently created a website and was wondering how I would go about making it appear on Google searches?

    Look in the SPAM folder of your emails. There should be plenty of people offering SEO (search engine optimisation) That's what you need…

    Wait a period of time
    It'll appear

    Setup google webmasters and add a sitemap. It will then crawl your site.

      And the other search engines like Bing. You'd be surprised at how many people actually use them. My sites got a lot of extra visitors after I did.

    The optimisation process involves using what are known as meta tags among other data within the content of your site.

    The content of your meta tags determines how a particular search engine sees it. Each search engine has its own proprietary way of assessing each website using this content.

    If you take a look at competitive websites that get a high ranking on google for instance, and you use similar tagging to them, then ultimately Google will rank you accordingly. It may be that you have something unique, in which case you would need to hope that searchers of Google (googlers??) would key those words into the search bar. If your site has those same words, you will rank accordingly. All the best in getting your site optimised!
