Hi guys, I bought a Lumia 640 from Dse but was unable to get the unlock code viay Optus chat as some people suggested. Could someone please recommend me a cheap remote unlocking service that is safe? There are so many out there. Is it safe to give those sites the imei no?

He charges $25, a bit pricey for a $99 phone.
he charges $26.25 there is a 5 % Payment Fee when transfer funds from paypal
Not really considering the usual price is above $250 for an unlocked phone
i usually look on ebay, depending on phone model you can usually get unlock codes for 2-10 bucks
depends how desperate are you to unlock
id wait for an optus $30 starter on the cheap and unlock in 6 six months using that credit.
i did that with a couple telstra phones where i bought a $30 sim for $1 unlocked and chucked the sim away
also, how is the phone? im thinking of getting one but currently sitting on the fence
I've just had my unlock via bagman come back as a fail,
I guess it's hit or miss, will check ebay…Should add he contacted me asap and offered refund.

Keep trying Optus live chat. If they are kind enough they will send a request for the unlock code to the "back office" and send you the code as an SMS. Make sure you activate your SIM though.
