I know ebay has the 15% off but their not right now and not sure if they will again or how long till they do.

Where are you comparing the prices ? Amazon VS "insert more expensive store here"
    Which Model ? base ? Overclocked ? Brand ?

    Cheapest Amazon model I Found
    Gigabyte Mini ITX $314USD

    Items: AUD 448.67
    Shipping & handling: AUD 16.48
    Total before tax: AUD 465.15
Estimated tax to be collected: AUD 0.00
Order total: AUD 465.15 + Potential Fees (BANK)

Now from PCCG I can get one for $479 or $475 from MSY

Not including shipping as we have no details on your location

Either way I would buy locally

wouldn't bother unless you are getting stuff from america when its on sale or special when prices are very low
which it is not at the moment

  • Let me tell you a story. Bought a tablet off Amazon for $400. They entered the right address but post office took it to the shop across the street. Contacted Amazon and they immediately refunded $200 for my trouble. So yea they are pretty good

Okay…so what happened to your tablet? Did the shop across the street just keep it for free and you got a refund?

Nope. The shop gave me a call using the number printed on the shipping slip and I went over to pick it up. I contacted Amazon afterwards

OP, for the difference of $30, local support and warranty is worth it. You don't want to hassle of sending stuff back (think about needing to pack it perfectly so it doesn't get damaged in transit which could affect your warranty claim) and waiting weeks for a response.

If anything goes wrong locally, go to the shop, give them the card, you get your replacement/refund on the spot. That's easily worth $30.

      Yeah $30 really isn't much.

When I got my 980ti from Amazon, I paid $750 including shipping thanks to the amex promo. Closest price for local stock was about $950. For a saving of $200, I'd gladly do it again.
